Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect information about you when you use our website and our software.

Last updated: [DATE TO BE CONFIRMED]

At CRM Ultimate Limited (CRMUltimate) we respect and protect the privacy of our customers and of everyone who uses our websites and web application. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure.

This policy, together with our terms of use and any other documents referred to in it, sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. It may change from time to time, so please check back periodically.

What we collect and why

In general you can visit our site without telling us who you are or revealing any personally identifiable information. Certain pages, however, invite you to give us your contact details voluntarily:

  • Starting a free trial
  • Purchase transactions
  • The online support form
  • Reporting an issue
  • Requesting a feature
  • Registering for our newsletter

What we ask for is typically your name, company name, telephone number and email address. The personal information you provide is used only to fulfil your request.

We use it to reply to requests for more information about our products and services, and to monitor and improve our website. We do not give, sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties, except as required by law, subpoena or court order.

Security

We protect information in transit using TLS encryption, so what you enter is encrypted before it reaches us.

Our databases are held in data centres in the United Kingdom. Information you submit through our websites may be sent electronically to a database maintained in the UK. Physical, network and process security measures are in place, including firewalling and DDoS protection.

If you have questions about security on our website, write to hitesh@crmultimate.com.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies — small pieces of information our website gives your browser when you visit. They let us understand overall site usage and which areas people prefer. Cookie usage is not linked to personally identifiable information while you are on our site. Most browsers let you control cookies, including whether to accept them and how to remove them. If you turn cookies off you may still be able to browse CRMUltimate.com.

Tracking technologies may record internet domain and host names, IP addresses, browser and operating system types, click patterns, and the dates and times our site is accessed. We may analyse information that contains no personal information for trends and statistics. Once you leave our site, we do not track you.

We use Google Analytics to understand how many visitors we receive and how that relates to our marketing. Access data is stored by Google, and is covered by the Google privacy policy.

Opting out

If you no longer wish to hear from us, reply to any of our emails with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line, or email hitesh@crmultimate.com with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line. Requests are usually processed immediately, but please allow five business days.

Your data in the software

Data entered or imported by users in your organisation remains your property. We will not use it, or make it available for use, without your permission.

On request we will provide an authorised user with a full export of your data in a common file format determined by us. Your data may be permanently deleted by us after you stop paying to use the service, or at your administrator's request.

When we may disclose information

We comply with the laws of the countries we operate from. We may disclose your personal information to third parties in these circumstances:

  • If we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer.
  • If CRM Ultimate Limited, or substantially all of its assets, is acquired by a third party, in which case personal data it holds about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
  • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data to comply with a legal obligation, to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, or to protect the rights, property or safety of CRM Ultimate Limited, our customers or others. This includes exchanging information with other organisations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Changes to this policy

We may modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it from time to time.
